About Me
I am a Black-Filipina American professional providing therapy services and clinical supervision in the Greater Houston area.
I have lived in Houston for thirty years and completed my Master's at the Graduate College of Social Work. I have been providing outpatient, individual therapy to Harris County residents for the past eight years. I also practice as a medical social worker, and have been providing PRN clinical case management within an acute-care hospital setting over the past five years.
Much of my free time is spent engaged in international travel and strengthening my cultural competency. I have worked within many different populations including previously incarcerated, domestic violence, foster care, substance use, and hospital social work. I am trained in a variety of therapy modalities and use several teaching methods to make sure you understand the intricacies and uses of each skill before bringing it to your own practice.
As a supervisor, I believe it is my role to be as experienced as possible, and prepare you for everything grad school does not.
